At the age of 57, I can say that I have had an eventful life, and although I have worked in many different environments, my path does appear to have come full circle.
I started out life as a jeweller in Birmingham, and became a Master Model Maker, creating bespoke items for reproduction jewellery. It was during this period that I found I had a talent for hand carving, although in those days, it was carving wax sculptures, from the size of bracelet charms, up to and including Trophy sized sculptures.
After many years in a completely different environment, I decided to try my hand with carving wood, and was surprised to find that I almost seemed to pick up, from where I left off, 30 years before.
I hope you like the items in the gallery section and I look forward to any comments, or enquiries.
Hopefully I will hear from you soon
